Rafting

The Tara is a river in Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina. It emerges from the confluence of the Opasnica and Veruša Rivers in the Prokletije mountain. The total length is 144 km, of which 110 km are in Montenegro, while the final 34 km are in Bosnia and Herzegovina; it also forms the border between the two countries in several places.

The Tara River is the longest canyon in Montenegro and Europe and second longest in the world after Grand Canyon, at 78 kilometers in length and 1,300 meters at its deepest. The canyon is protected as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and is a part of Durmitor National Park.

Tara River is not to be confused with Tara Mountain and Tara National Park, which are situated in western Serbia.

Rafting is very popular on Tara River. It is also one of the most popular things to do in Montenegro.

Paragliding

For those that find exploring land and water is just not exciting enough why not try paragliding?

View the stunning coast line along the Budva Rivijera from the air. Tandem jump with a fully qualified instructor from the hill sides above Budva or Bečići, landing on the beach. What better way to add exciting photos to your holiday snaps! Flights are weather dependent and require a minimum of one day’s advance notice. Parental consent required for under 18’s. Transport to take off strip available from Budva or Bečići and all necessary equipment is provided. Trainers or good shoes must be worn as some running is required. Don’t forget your camera!

Sailing Boat & Yacht

Imagine a day spent on the water, relaxing on the deck of traditional sailing boat or yacht with the captain, surrounded by stunning scenery. Canyoning

Canyon Nevidio is part of Mala Komarnica, river, which rises at the pedestal of the southern part of Durmitor, precisely in Dobri Do. The beauty of the canyon Nevidio is staggering, and this phenomenon will leave you breathless with its steep cliffs and icy cold water. The canyon is 2,700 meters long, and in some places its width goes down to only 0.5m. In three hours, which is the average time of passing through, the adrenalin will rise as you pass under huge boulders, jumping in foaming rapids from a several meters high. Imagine yourselves in the heart of spectacular canyon, swimming through a meter wide narrows, while the sky is reduced to a thinnest line.
